SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
