۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 No one can bear another's burden. If a heavily laden one should call another to carry his load, none of it shall be carried by the other, even though he be a near of kin. (O Prophet), you can warn only those who fear their Lord without seeing Him and establish Prayer. Whoever purifies himself does so to his own good. To Allah is the final return. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 nor are darkness and light 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
