We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
