Surely We brought man into being out of dry ringing clay which was wrought from black mud, 26 and the jinn We had created before from flaming fire. 27 When your Lord said to the angels: 'See, I am creating a mortal from clay of molded mud. 28 So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. 31 "How is it, O Iblis," said (the Lord), "you did not join those who bowed in homage?" 32 He said it was not for me that I should prostrate myself unto a human being whom Thou hast created from ringing clay of loam moulded. 33 God told him, "Get out of the garden; you are rejected 34 “And indeed you are accursed till the Day of Judgement.” 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 He said: So surely you are of the respited ones 37 "Till the predetermined time." 38 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- 39 except Your sincere servants". 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." 42 Surely Hell is the promised place for all of them." 43 Which has several gates, and each gate is marked for every section of them." 44
