The dwellers of Al-Aiyka [near Madyan (Midian)] belied the Messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 weigh with an even balance 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
