Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
