Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
