On the day when We shall summon every group along with its leader; so whoever is given his register in his right hand – these will read their accounts and their rights will not be suppressed even a thread. (* They will be given the full reward.) 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 Indeed they were near to seducing thee from that We revealed to thee, that thou mightest forge against Us another, and then they would surely have taken thee as a friend; 73 And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little. 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 This was Our tradition with Our Messengers who lived before you, and you will find no change in Our tradition. 77
