Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
