Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
