The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
