The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
