We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
