The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to the stinters; 1 Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. 2 And who, when they measure unto them or weigh for them, diminish. 3 Do such people not realize that they will be raised up, 4 [and called to account] on an awesome Day 5 The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? 6 Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in (the lowest depths) Sijjin. 7 And what will make you know what the Sijjin is? 8 It is a written book. 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 those that give the lie to the Day of Recompense. 11 And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of Allah, the sinner!) 12 When Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 13 No indeed! The truth is that their hearts have become rusted on account of their evil deeds. 14 No indeed, on that Day they shall be veiled from their Lord. 15 Then verily they will be roasted into the Scorch. 16 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. 17 No indeed! Verily, the deeds of the virtuous shall be in the record of the exalted ones. 18 And what will make you know what 'Illiyyun is? 19 A Register inscribed. 20 witnessed by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God. 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 On Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things): 23 You shall see upon their faces the glow of bliss. 24 They will be served a drink of the finest sealed wine, 25 whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive -- 26 With the wine is a drink from Tasnim, 27 A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allah. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 when they passed by them, they would wink at one another; 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 And upon seeing the Muslims, they used to say, “Indeed they have gone astray.” 32 though they were not sent to be their keepers -- 33 But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers: 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Have the unbelievers been rewarded what they were doing? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
