And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
