The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
