And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be maidens of equal age with modest gaze. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire – let them also be confined!” 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
