SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 from which you turn away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
