The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
