Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
