▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
