1/2 Hizb 54

۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
