Al-Qalam 2 of 2
The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge you? 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 That you shall have all that you choose? 38 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection? Surely you shall have whatever you judge! 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or, do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if what they say is true! 41 (Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I bear with them; verily My contrivance is sure. 45 Or do you ask from them a reward, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 47 So be patient with the judgement of your Lord and do not be like the Companion of the Whale (Jonah), when he called out choking inwardly. 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 The unbelievers wellnigh strike thee down with their glances, when they hear the Reminder, and they say, 'Surely he is a man possessed!' 51 And it is nothing but a Reminder unto all beings. 52

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
