The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
