But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
