Nay, by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
