(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
