Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
