Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
