We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
