We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
