Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
