The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
