۞ And Allah hath said: take not two gods; He is only One God so Me alone, Me dread. 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And ye have no good thing but is from Allah: and moreover, when ye are touched by distress, unto Him ye cry with groans; 53 Then when He removeth the distress from you, forthwith a party of you with their Lord associate. 54 So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. 55 And they appoint a share of that We have provided them to what they know not. By God, you shall be questioned as to that you forged. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 Those who believe not in the world to come, theirs is the evil likeness; God's is the loftiest likeness; He is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 60
