And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 The servant said: "Did you see what happened? When we betook ourselves to the rock to take rest, I forgot the fish - and it is only Satan who caused me to forget to mention it to you - so that it made its way into the sea in a strange manner." 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 He said: Surely you cannot have patience with me 67 “And how will you bear something which your knowledge does not encompass?” 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: "Well, if you follow me, do not ask me concerning anything until I myself mention it to you." 70
