Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
