Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon). Sent down in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
