If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat; 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. 74 They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
