In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
