And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
