The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
