Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
