So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
