The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
