▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Almighty Allah's Truth.
