But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
