The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the pages are made public 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 And when the garden is brought nigh, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and brightening morning, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Owner of power, and high rank with (Allah) the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape – peace and blessings be upon them). 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
