The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
