[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 But only disavowed and turned away; 32 And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. 33 This (attitude) is worthy of you, altogether worthy; 34 Woe to you! For you, the human being of such behavior, will certainly deserve it. 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 Then he was a blood-clot, and He created and formed, 38 And made of him two mates, the male and the female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
