The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
